4 months ago today....

Sad day.... Four months ago today, we said good-bye to our little angel. It has been an incredibly long road, but we can finally move on and try for our next little miracle. We miss our baby every day.... Forever in our hearts. 11/15/11.

I usually have lunch with some ladies from work once a week and today we met to have a baby shower for a girl who just had a baby 2 weeks ago. Right when I got there she wanted me to hold the baby while she ordered and everyone started teasing me about how great I looked with a baby and telling me to hurry up and make one!! None of them have any idea that we have even been trying and all the issues we've had. I completely lost it and started crying when I told them about the miscarriage. They all felt horrible, but I felt worse.... My entire body ached when I was holding her. It was absolutely excruciating. I so badly want that happiness for myself. However, why is it that people who have just had a baby tell you to not to rush and to enjoy your time before you do have one because their life has changed so much. That is the most frustrating thing to hear when you would give anything to experience those changes in your life... Oh what people can't understand when things come so easy for them...

  1. Thank you for posting this. I have had the same experience and no one understands unless have been through it. I had a miscarriage in June 2011 and I was invited to two baby showers 1 and 2 months later. I didn't go. And in Jan 2012 I had TWO friends give birth on MY due date. I cried all week. It helps to cry. I feel better now.

    1. Juice... Like I said in my other reply to your comment, I am so sorry for your loss. Nobody can ever understand your pain like someone else who has experienced the loss... Not even your husband. The minute you see that BFP, a woman's mind starts planning the future... Designing the nursery, thinking of names, envisioning life with a new little one. We have a baby from the first minute we see that extra pink line... And how quickly all of those dreams come crashing down... Devastating.

I am so sorry for your loss and I will keep you in my prayers!

  2. I'm so sorry for your loss Angel. I know that feeling of frustrating when people tell you to wait. My step-mom & dad tell me to wait and "enjoy" life and they don't know that we are having problems conceiving. Why would I wait when it only get's harder the older your become. I would still enjoy my life with a child and my husband. I'm sure it's hard and there is a lot of stress that comes with it. It's just upsetting that they don't understand because they think it's so easy. I wish you guys the best in trying to conceive your next angel. Just remember, you will see your child again with our father. Your being watched over by your angel.
